Autumn Leaves is a FW 2017 RTW collection. The inspiration for this collection was the colors and brisk weather in the season of Autumn. I absolutely love the burnt oranges and light tans found in nature during this season. The world is so beautiful and vibrant in this time of the year that I wanted to show that through this mini wool coat and dress collection. Autumn Leaves features 100% wool fabric for the shell of each piece and 100% polyester satin linings. As the trends reflect this collection features high necklines and large interesting lapels on the coats. Another huge trend right now is embroidery. We see embroidery in almost everything today not just the physical clothing; i.e. purses, shoes, hats, etc. One of this collections’ main detail features is embroidery. The embroidery featured in Autumn Leaves takes on the look of vines and leaves which I chose with the thought of the Fall season in mind. Overall, I wanted to create a fun fashion forward collection that is truly made to keep you warm in the brisk fall weather.
